Therapy Services

In my work, I see therapy as a space where you can slow down, reflect, and speak openly about what you may be carrying internally. I aim to create an environment where your thoughts, emotions, and experiences can be explored without judgment. Through this process, many people begin to gain clarity, develop healthier ways of coping, and feel more grounded in their lives. For some, the therapy room becomes one of the first places they are able to truly open up, share difficult or private parts of their story, and feel fully seen and understood, which I believe to be one of the post powerful and healing parts of the process.

I understand what it’s like to feel lost, overwhelmed with worry, and unsure if you have the strength to face another day. But I also know the healing power of being truly seen, heard, and supported during life’s most difficult and uncertain moments. When we are able to share our fears and vulnerabilities while someone is there to listen and understand, healing can begin.

My approach combines warmth, humor, and honesty. I believe therapy should feel supportive, genuine, and collaborative. Life is both beautiful and messy, and you don’t have to navigate it alone.

My Specialties

I have experience working with individuals and couples across the lifespan, including children, teens, adults, and older adults well into their 80s. I work with clients of all genders and from a wide range of backgrounds and professions. Over the years, I have supported individuals working in many different fields, including technology, law enforcement, education, entertainment, business, and fellow therapists and helping professionals.

Below are some of my primary areas of specialty:

Pregnant Woman Relaxing

Maternal Mental Health

I have been working with pregnant and postpartum mothers for over 10 years. I am considered a perinatal mental health specialist and hold a PMHC through Postpartum Support International. As a mother of 4 young kids, I understand the demands of motherhood and the delicate dance that can take place between love and need for space and identity. Working with moms is my passion as I enjoy helping guide mothers through navigating the ups and downs of this new chapter. In addition to anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, OCD, and other common disorders that occur during the perinatal period, some unique subspecialties of this population that I also have experience with include:-

NICU stays

-Premature births

-Fear of pregnancy or "Tokophobia"

-Miscarriage and ectopic pregnancies

-Stillbirth, and Infant loss

-Traumatic childbirth

-Infertility

-Fetal Chromosomal abnormalities

-Adoption

-Cancer during pregnancy and the postpartum period

-"high-profile" perinatal clientele

Because of my specialized training and years of experience working with mothers, I am often sought out by families and professionals looking for a clinician with focused expertise in perinatal mental health. I frequently collaborate with obstetric providers, pediatricians, lactation consultants, and other maternal care professionals to help ensure mothers receive thoughtful, coordinated support during pregnancy and the postpartum period. My goal is to provide a safe, knowledgeable space where women can process their experiences and feel supported through one of the most meaningful—and sometimes most challenging—transitions of life.

Anxiety Disorders

Anxiety is one of my primary areas of specialization. Many of the individuals I work with experience persistent worry, racing thoughts, difficulty relaxing, or a constant sense of being on edge. For some, anxiety can also manifest as panic attacks—sudden waves of intense fear accompanied by physical symptoms such as a racing heart, chest tightness, dizziness, or shortness of breath. In therapy, we work together to better understand the patterns that fuel anxiety while developing effective strategies to calm the nervous system, reduce overthinking, and help you feel more grounded and confident in daily life.

Teens and college students

Adolescence and young adulthood are periods of tremendous growth, change, and self-discovery, but they can also come with significant pressure and emotional challenges. I work with teens and college students navigating anxiety, academic stress, social pressures, identity development, and the transition into greater independence. Therapy provides a supportive space where young people can talk openly about what they’re experiencing, develop healthier coping strategies, and build confidence as they learn to navigate relationships, school, and the evolving responsibilities of adulthood.

Couples

Relationships can be one of the most meaningful parts of our lives, but they can also become strained when partners feel misunderstood, disconnected, or caught in repeating cycles of conflict. Couples therapy provides a space where both partners can slow down, communicate more openly, and begin to better understand one another’s needs, perspectives, and emotional experiences.

A central part of my work with couples involves exploring attachment styles and how early relational patterns can influence the way partners connect, communicate, and respond to conflict. Understanding these patterns often helps couples make sense of why certain dynamics repeat and how they can begin to shift them.

In our work together, we focus on improving communication, addressing patterns that create distance or conflict, and helping partners rebuild trust, connection, and emotional safety.

Whether you are navigating ongoing conflict, life transitions, parenting stress, or simply feeling disconnected from one another, therapy can help create a path toward a healthier and more supportive relationship.
