Postpartum & Doula Support

Newborn Baby Feet

Over the years, one of the most common questions I receive from my pregnant clients is, “Can you be there at my birth?”  While therapy and birth support are traditionally separate roles, I began to recognize how meaningful it can be for mothers to have someone they already trust supporting them during this important transition. That question stayed with me, and ultimately I decided to do something about it.

In addition to therapy services, I will soon be offering postpartum and doula support to help mothers navigate the early weeks and months after birth with greater confidence and care. I anticipate welcoming my first doula client in June, once all training and program requirements have been completed.

The transition into motherhood can be one of the most meaningful and transformative times in a woman’s life, but it can also bring unexpected emotional and physical challenges. These services are designed to provide both practical guidance and emotional support during the fourth trimester, helping mothers adjust to life with a newborn while also caring for their own wellbeing. Because my practice specializes in maternal mental health, this support is offered with a deep understanding of the emotional and psychological changes that often accompany pregnancy and early parenthood.

If you are expecting and interested in learning more about doula or postpartum support services, you are welcome to reach out to discuss availability or be added to the waitlist for upcoming openings.
